Betty Fold has three acres of garden containing many interesting and unusual plants and trees. Guest are welcome to wander round areas such as the bog garden, the shuttlecock fern and lily areas and the various pieces of woodland. Spring is an exceptional time to visit with the Azaelias, Rhododendrons, Handkerchief Tree and many more in full bloom. In summer the Tulip Trees flower and there is colour throughout the year and the views across the Esthwaite Valley and across to the Troutbeck Fells are stunning.
